ZOO DAY!
We went to the Zoo on May 2nd and had a blast. Maykayla's school went and we got to go. The girls had so much fun. It was cute to see them react to all the different animals. Kayla kept calling the Giraffe's Zebra's and the Zebra's Giraffes. It was funny. Ellie was fascinated by the snakes and elephants. Anyway, we had a great family day.

Well I downloaded these backwards. Marshall, Tyler, Katie and I decided to give an early mother and father's day gift to Calvin and Karen. We redid their kitchen. When they bought the house the kitchen had this blue and white striped wall paper in it. When we lived there we tore it down and then they moved back in. Well it had remained unfinished for a really long time and I thought that we should all get together and get this done for my inlaws. They do so much for other people and have done so much for us that I wanted to do something nice for them. So I rounded up the troops, planned out what we needed to do, did the shopping and we started on Thursday the 17th and finished on Saturday the 26th. The painting part wasn't hard but the top of the cabinets had board up above it. Marshall and Tyler tore that down and built a cove above it. That was a major project and that took up the majority of the time. But it got done! I wasn't there for the "reveal" to see Calvin and Karen's faces but they say they love it! So I'm glad it all worked out in the end. I am proud of the work we did. I can't believe how good it looks. So I thought I'd share these pics. The bottom is where we started and the top pic is the finished product.

Where's Ellie?????
So they started in their beds and I checked on them before I went to bed and I see these legs hanging out? I thought it was so funny that I had to take a picture...I can't for the life of me figure out how she did this? I also ask myself why is the floor more comfortable than their bed? But who knows. I just thought this was so funny!

So here is Kayla's new 'do'! This came from a little accident. Kayla, her friend Molly and Molly's
little brother Aiden found some scissors on the road and decided to cut their hair. So Kayla cut her hair first then cut her dolls hair and then started cutting Molly's and Aiden's. So then I had to fix it. So here is the result..It actually turned out cute. Naughty girl! I guess she just wanted a new do!

This is a response to some of the comments I got from below. I can't believe he said that to me either. I think I needed that dollar more than he did and I also think he had more in "his" pocket than I did in mine. As I was reading your comments a commercial came on tv on channel 2 of a report they did about how much pan handlers get a day and where they go and do with their money. They followed a girl and watched where she went after she was done asking for money. It will be on Channel 2 news on Tuesday and I think they said at 6 but I can't remember the time now. Anyway, I was asked twice this weekend and had to say no. I jokingly said to myself sorry your fellow co-worker ruined it for you! that is rude I know! But I am so irritated with this whole thing.

Generous??? I think not!

Alright, I have a story to tell, oh boy do I! So let me give a little bit of build up to this incredible tale....I shop at Walmart often, everytime I go which is about twice a week, there is a guy who stands at the entrance/exit of the parking lot. He is there everyday M-S 8-5. This is seriously his day job. I get so frustrated everytime I see him. I think to myself, why can't he go to a temp service and get a job, why is he here every day? I absolutely refuse to give him money. I know that is mean of me and I'm sure I'll go to hell for being so selfish...but honestly don't you think him being out there everyday is a bit much! And his sign says, stranded and homeless, please help and god bless!!!!! Yah stranded at the walmart for 5 months? right! Okay so after that let me tell you this part.............Marshall and I and the girls are leaving Walmart, it is about 7:30 pm and I guess there was a "shift" change on the corner!? There is a different guy and he looks really bad, haggard face, torn clothes and he has a dog, his sign says "need help, need money, need gas. I had a dollar in my pocket and I thought well I'll just give this to him. I said to Marshall I just have a dollar should I give it to him, so marshall rolls the window down I stick my hand out the window, mind you I'm going against my stubborn will to not give money to these "employed" people, and he walks to the car and I say to him good luck, while I'm saying this he is already saying to me, before he starts taking the money, I normall would just throw this dollar bill back at you, this is drug money!" and he is putting it in his pocket by the time he is done talking and walking back to his "office space". I just looked at him and then looked at Marshall with this utter shock and bewilderment as to what just happened. I called the guy a naughty word to marshall after I rolled up my window. Marshall says What? I repeated to him what the guy said, oh man, I saw my husbands face turn from confusion, to stunned, to angry, to bleeping mad! The blood ran from his toes straight to the top of his forehead. He said, with all composure he could handle, do you want your dollar back? Lucky for the "independant business Executive" I said no. We pulled to the stop light and my poor husband was so irrate that he sat at the green light without realizing it was green. I was shaking and he was shaking. I could not believe what just took place. The nerve of that "motivational speaker" to say that! I will never in my life be generous to anyone that is begging on the streets like that, ever ever ever! It took all energy Marshall had to not go back to that guy and say, have you ever been mugged? Well your about to! he he Anyway, this bother me so much that I thought I would share.

Here is a Family picture. This was suppose to be a generation one but somehow all of us ended
up in the picture. It turned out to be a great picture. In this pic is Marshall, His dad, his grandpa and his grandma and then me and the girls. Below is some pics from Marshall's cousin's wedding. Morgan was being fussy and Marshall asked to hold her and he started singing to her and she totally relaxed and just laid on his chest. It was so cute! And below that is Makayla and Ellie posing! I tried to just get a pick but they always have to pose...I don't know why they just do. And below that is Tyler playing my favorite game...Guitar Hero! He is being goofy and was dancing all around the room playing the guitar! Silly Savage!!

So I have found a new blogspot with a ton of cool templates for your page. I'm loving it! Also I found a playlist...I'm so excited about dressing up our blog! It is fun to change it around and stuff. Anyway I added links to these fun places under my links page.

Happy 5th Birthday Makayla!
This was a dress up party and my friend did their hair, and another did their makeup and I did their nails. They had so much fun!

Easter at the Anderson's
So this was a fun filled day for the kids. For Braydon and Makayla's birthday Grandma Jaelann took the family to Chuck E Cheese. They had a blast. I don't have pics from that day, darn it! But then in the afternoon 3 little Easter bunnies hid eggs in the backyard and then the kids went on their hunt. They had so much fun finding the eggs and eating the candy!

Princesses on Ice March 15 2008
This was so much fun! We had a ball! We rode trax downtown and the girls dressed up in their princess stuff. It was cool cause they knew all of them. I just can't tell you how much fun it was and good the show was!

A moment of silence for our furry friend, Jack. Our house is filled with sadness right now because our kitty has disappeared. Jack was not an outside cat but liked to go out for just a few hours and then he would be right back home. We just got him fixed last week and he was still recovering. Makayla took him outside on Friday and she put him down he went running to the back of our neighbors yard. We called him that night and he didn't return and hasn't since. I drove all over the neighborhood the next day to see if I could find him. The girls have been so sad so I wanted to see if I could see him anywhere just for some closure. On Sunday I asked our neighbor if she saw Jack run back there and she said no but the neighbor on the other side of me had their cat poisoned, and that there is someone behind us that does it to all the cats. I went to my class and didn't think about it till I went home. The rest of the family had stayed home sick, as I got into the car I just started to ball...I couldn't believe my emotions all of a sudden. I knew I would have to go home and tell my kids what may have happened to him. They are pretty smart and know when something is wrong because Ellie got up from her nap and said to Marshall Jack isn't coming home huh daddy! Oh my gosh that made me ball even more. I thought she would have cried or something but she was very understanding. When Kayla woke up from her nap Marshall sat her on his knee and said I have to tell you something that might have happened to Jack. And he told her and you should have seen the look in her face change. It was the saddest thing I have ever seen! I again started to cry. I didn't realize I or my children would have been so emotional about all this. Kayla just put her head on her dad's chest and started to cry. It was so sad. She felt guilty for having him outside and we explained to her it wasn't her fault that someone very mean did something to Jack. We are totally convinced that this had to of happened to Jack. This is just not like him to not come home because he is such a home body. I am just furious that people do this to animals. Isn't it animal cruelty? I had a hard time last night because the routine at nights for me is when the kids are in bed I go down stairs turn on my shows and fold clothes, and Jack curls himself up right up agains my leg and he would actually snuggle with me. It was weird not to have him there. I know this may sound very malitious of me but I hope that the people that do this to animals will answer for this. I don't think they realize that they are killing a member of someones family. Anyway, I'm going off on a tangent and that could go on forever. I just thought I would share the sad news that happened to our family this weekend. I hope for my kids sake that Jack needed a break and will return soon if not then I hope he didn't have to suffer.

This is Jordans Elite Demo team. They had a routine planned out and we got about half of it. They are so good. This team ranges from age 3 on up to adults. This DOJO (spelling?) was featured on Channel 2 news for there morning segments a couple of months ago. If you can't tell I'm just so proud of my nephew! He is such a good boy, I just adore him. I have an awesome family. I am so proud of my brother and his family.

This is Jordan and his buddy doing a routine they made up together about 5 minutes before they had to do it. They were so cute when they decided at the last minute to enter this event. They were trying to throw something together. I think it turned out great for last minute planning!

This is my nephew Jordan. We went to his Karate demo and he is on the demo elite team. This video is Jordan breaking boards. The students decide what way they want to break them. He placed first in his category. It was so fun to watch him and his team mates. They had 3 year olds breaking boards! It was amazing.

We went sledding last week and had so much fun. I have some videos of us sledding but they won't work on here for some reason. Ellie had her baby with her and she would put her in her lap and then cover her eyes. She didn't like the snow getting them in there! It was funny. Makayla loved it! She didn't want to leave but she was soaked so we had to go. She would giggle all the way down the hill.

This was taken on December 8th. This is our backyard and it was green that morning! By 5 pm it had snowed so much that it was covered. Marshall and the kids were building a snowman.

Grandpa and Ellie at the Call Family Reunion. We were taking old fashion pictures and Grandpa was entertaining Ellie while we waited. This is such a sweet photo.
