So here is the story (by the way looking at this picture makes my skin crawl), I went to pull the garbage can away from the wall so I could get the liner out, "ahhhhhhh what the heck is that" I yelled and then rushed me and the girls into the living room where we sat till Marshall took care of it. Well he took a pic before he did anything. He sat there for the longest time trying to figure out what to do. He took our swiffer and went to do it and he yells "It's looking at me!" and I yelled "kill it"! so he did and then he screams "oh my crap it has babies, it is aracnophobia over here!" and all these little babies were just scattering up the wall, the floor the cupboard. So marshall grabbed some bug spray and killed them all. After he got the mess all cleaned up he looked at the camera and he goes "oh my gosh! you can see the eyes of the babies on here"! That is so gross! And there just happen to be this battery on the floor next to it to show how big this sucker was. Marshall calls it the rodent killer. And everytime the story is told the spider gets bigger, but here is a pic to prove how big this flesh eater was!
Makayla had to make a person that looked like her so we did and had fun doing it. She also had a pattern paper she had to do where she made up her own pattern sequences..I helped her with it and I felt so cool, like a real mom! i'm a dork! I know!
"Mom you don't need to take me, I can walk!" A little convincing got her into the car..it is about a mile away..
Ellie wants to go to school so bad. She wanted to try sisters back pack on and pretend for a minute
Here we go again, Can't wait to get in those doors!
Welcome Kindergarteners!!
Just walking right in..no fear!
This was an entire family event. We were all so excited for Kindergarten!
Okay now a little nervousness sets in for about....
30 seconds! She walked right in, went to her hook and then stood to sing National Anthem...I got a bit teary eyed until Marshall called me a boob! tee hee..Ellie wanted to be with her sister so bad.
The race was on...which train and company would reach this point first. No.119 or Jupiter
Family in front of Jupiter
The last railroad tie and spike placed here, and my funky lookin feet
No. 119 Union Pacific
After we saw the trains we had a picnic in the parking lot. I'm so glad we stopped at all these places. These are things are probably would have never seen if I hadn't been traveling out that way already. This picture is a little dark but they were so exhausted. They slept the rest of the way home!
ATK Rocket Garden. This is where Marshall's brother Otto works. This is displayed in front of the buildings there. I can't remember where it is but it is out in the middle of nowhere! This Rocket Garden was really impressive.
Family Photo under the big rocket booster.
Ellie was so tired and sick of traveling. Her attitude definately showed by the end. Poor thing had had enough!
I can't remember what this was called but it was huge to. Mom and Kayla.
Dad standing in front of this gynormous rocket. I wish I would have written everything down so I could remember what each one was. The two on either side were missiles. The one on the right was used in Desert Storm.
I caught my first fish! Well my fish story goes like this...This is really my second fish and the first one was bigger and got away!
Morgan loved this puppy of Kayla's but what is funny is Kayla stuck this on her head and she kept it there.
This was such a fun game, it is called Nertz. We had up to 6 people playing at one time which made it challenging but way fun!
More Nertz
More swimming, Ellie was doing really good with her floaties and Kayla was doing great without her floaties. They both love to swim!
All Cozy in our tent. They slept great in the tent!

In Loving Memory, Mark Hilton

Our friend and second Dad, Passed away on July 21, 2008. Mark had been battling with cancer this last year. My sister and I became so close to this family when they moved into the ward when I was 12 years old. Marinda had become a very close friend to me. She was my young womens leader then I became her asst coach and camp leader and our friendship grew from there. Mark became my second dad. Because my dad was never a part of my life, I just clung to Mark. I watched and listened to his advice and example in how he raised his daughters. He would get us girls laughing so dang hard that we couldn't breath and our stomachs would just hurt. There were times when he would bare his testimony with my sister, mom and I and we would cry because he was so full of the spirit and you coulnd't help but feel the spirit and the light of Christ when you were around him. Mark and Marinda are the most giving and friendly people I know. They would give you the shirt off their back. I remember Mark saying about a family that had lost there house, "why didn't they ask me to help them". He seemed offended that he couldn't help someone!! I am so appreciative and privileged to know such an amazing and remarkable man! I know that at this time, the Hilton family are grieving and my heart just aches that the presence of this man will not be physically there. I know that his memory will and hopefully that will comfort them. I love you guys with all my heart and I'm sorry you have to go through this again. And Thank you Mark for being such an awesome and powerful examply in my life, you will be missed greatly by so many!

I took this at Grandma Jaelann's house for Marshall and they turned out pretty cute.
They posed for these and I didn't even have to tell them what to do. The girls love to do princess
things and model and stuff so I thought it was funny when they did there little poses. Anyway, I realized I don't update this enough and so I thought I would just post something.
