On our way home from the reunion we took a detour and went to see the Rocket Garden at ATK. I think it is at Promontory Point. It was really cool to see all the different materials were made here for the space shuttle.

ATK Rocket Garden. This is where Marshall's brother Otto works. This is displayed in front of the buildings there. I can't remember where it is but it is out in the middle of nowhere! This Rocket Garden was really impressive.

Family Photo under the big rocket booster.

Ellie was so tired and sick of traveling. Her attitude definately showed by the end. Poor thing had had enough!

I can't remember what this was called but it was huge to. Mom and Kayla.

Dad standing in front of this gynormous rocket. I wish I would have written everything down so I could remember what each one was. The two on either side were missiles. The one on the right was used in Desert Storm.
This is the Call Family Reunion. This year it was in Declo, Idaho. We went along with Calvin, Karen, Katie and Morgan. We had a great time. It is always fun to get reacquainted with extended family members. Here are a few pics from our camp out.

I caught my first fish! Well my fish story goes like this...This is really my second fish and the first one was bigger and got away!

Morgan loved this puppy of Kayla's but what is funny is Kayla stuck this on her head and she kept it there.

This was such a fun game, it is called Nertz. We had up to 6 people playing at one time which made it challenging but way fun!

More Nertz

More swimming, Ellie was doing really good with her floaties and Kayla was doing great without her floaties. They both love to swim!

All Cozy in our tent. They slept great in the tent!

We went for a visit to Grandma Jaelann's. Clint, Katie and Morgan were there so we were able to visit and play with Morgan. The girls just love Morgan. They love any baby. They are always so sweet and loving. Ellie kept playing with Morgan when she was on the floor. She would hold her toys and play with Morgan, Ellie also read to her. That was so sweet. They played in the pool, well it was a raft that Fred made into a pool, and Morgan loved it, she didn't cry once, even when the girls were dancing around in the pool with her and some water would get on Morgan. I think she just enjoyed being with other kids. But she is so dang cute!

So the girls have these little wigs that are so funny. My family was over and we were all trying them on. I thought these pics were hilarious.

In Loving Memory, Mark Hilton

Our friend and second Dad, Passed away on July 21, 2008. Mark had been battling with cancer this last year. My sister and I became so close to this family when they moved into the ward when I was 12 years old. Marinda had become a very close friend to me. She was my young womens leader then I became her asst coach and camp leader and our friendship grew from there. Mark became my second dad. Because my dad was never a part of my life, I just clung to Mark. I watched and listened to his advice and example in how he raised his daughters. He would get us girls laughing so dang hard that we couldn't breath and our stomachs would just hurt. There were times when he would bare his testimony with my sister, mom and I and we would cry because he was so full of the spirit and you coulnd't help but feel the spirit and the light of Christ when you were around him. Mark and Marinda are the most giving and friendly people I know. They would give you the shirt off their back. I remember Mark saying about a family that had lost there house, "why didn't they ask me to help them". He seemed offended that he couldn't help someone!! I am so appreciative and privileged to know such an amazing and remarkable man! I know that at this time, the Hilton family are grieving and my heart just aches that the presence of this man will not be physically there. I know that his memory will and hopefully that will comfort them. I love you guys with all my heart and I'm sorry you have to go through this again. And Thank you Mark for being such an awesome and powerful examply in my life, you will be missed greatly by so many!

I took this at Grandma Jaelann's house for Marshall and they turned out pretty cute.
They posed for these and I didn't even have to tell them what to do. The girls love to do princess
things and model and stuff so I thought it was funny when they did there little poses. Anyway, I realized I don't update this enough and so I thought I would just post something.

The Fun Never Stops at the Call house!!

We spent the afternoon at the doctor's and hospital yesterday. Ellie broke her arm...and not the arm she hurt a few weeks ago...She was at a birthday party on Saturday at this place called Jumpin Jack's. It is like Kangaroo Zoo but smaller. She was coming down one of the slides and hit the bump and her arms flew out and she lost her balance and when she landed, she landed on her arm and Marshall said it looked like she jammed it. She complained about it but since she had just sprained her other arm and it wasn't swelling up, Marshall thought that it would be okay. Well she fell again that night at a parade and hurt it again. She cried all day on Sunday and Marshall thought that she was just being over dramatic. So she went to Daycare yesterday and they called me and told me that it was swollen and she had been complaining about it. So when she came home I noticed it was more swollen and I gave her motrin. I thought, okay if in the morning it is still swollen I am going to take her in regardless what Marshall thinks. So of course she woke up and it was pretty puffy and hard. So I made an appointment for her. When the doctor looked at it he said I bet it is fractured. So he sent me over to the Hospital to get an x-ray done and it showed a fracture on both of her bones around the wrist. They called it a buckle fracture. So we went back to the Doctor's office where they wrapped her up in a cast. She hates it. This morning she wanted it off. She kept saying "mommy it's time to take this off"! and off was emphasized!! Anyway, I feel so bad of how long we waited. Her arm didn't swell till Monday, I know it is okay now but I feel terrible that she had been in that pain for so long without getting anything done about it. Marshall feels bad to. I called and told him and he was shocked that it was broken. The doctor said that he would have sent us home anyway with just a splint till the arm was done swelling and then they would put the cast on but I still feel bad. So she got a red cast!! her favorite color...Ellie was so good through everything. The only time she cried was when we were waiting..we got to the doc's at 3 and didn't get home till 7:45!!! ya it was a long one!!

Well guys...I haven't posted for awhile. Things have been crazy and I have a ton of pics and can't figure out how to get them on the comp from my camera. Something happened and I can't find the program that pulls from the camera??? Anyway, Marshall is the computer guy here and he has been in New Mexico working so I'm stuck I guess till he is home to figure it out. Marshall is working in New Mexico on a Smith's that they are doing some demolition on. He was hired as the Asbestos Supervisor. So far he likes it. It has been hard with him gone, especially on the girls...especially on Makayla. Boy I didn't realize how attached to her dad she was. She has taken it pretty rough! So He was gone for seven days came home for Father's Day weekend and is gone this morning for another 6 weeks. So life has been really busy and crazy. Lots of activities and things are happening here now to keep the girls' mind off of Marshall being gone. Marshall gave us all blessings this morning before he left which were really neat. I love that I have a priesthood leader in my home. I didn't realize growing up what I was missing till now that the priesthood is in our home. Anyway, I know this hasn't been updated in a while so I thought I better put something on here. I hope everyone out there who are Father's had a great day. I know that I am very appreciative of My Father in laws and husband. Father's Day is always hard for me but this year really seemed to be the worst. I don't know why. But I am very grateful for the Home teachers and some of the Brethren in my life while I was growing up that were influential to me as a "father" figure. They could never stand in as my dad but they sure have come close in offering me advice, giving me those blessings when I needed it and being there to take me to those father daughter dates in church. I am very blessed and lucky that I have the gospel in my life, even more blessed that my husband and I were married in the temple, more blessed that my children were born under the covenant, and more blessed that we can continue to stay as a family unit in this crazy world! I am so grateful that Marshall supports me in my crazy ideas and projects that I always have going on. I am very grateful that he works hard to support our family. I'm sure he hates being away from us but does what he can to provide for his family. I love you Marshall!!!

Makayla's a Genius

So Makayla got a new bike for her birthday because she has out grown her old one. She will not ride it at all. She says it keeps falling over on her. The bike has training wheels but they suck! They keep collapsing. So this day she decided to get on her old bike and was just using her feet to push her around on it. Then she started to get going on it like fred flinstone and build up a momentum and then start pedaling. It was so funny to watch her. I watched from the window and was giggling cause I was so excited that she had accomplished this. Last summer we tried to teach her to do it but she just wasn't ready. But the fact that she had done it by herself is such and amazing accomplishment for her. So I came outside and started recording her without Kayla knowing it. Afterwards I told her how proud I was that she did this and that she is so smart to figure out how to ride this bike. She was beaming! I just love moments like this!

Oh No!
Ellie was playing on the playground at daycare and she fell off the slide and landed on the back right above her elbow. She couldn't move it or squeeze her arm and it was swollen. So Marshall took her to the ER and they just said she sprained it really good. So here is her bandage. She wore it for two days. I took it off of her and she wouldn't move her arm. She wouldn't move it for three more days. Poor thing! She is better now though. But this is a first real injury for her, so I thought I'd share it.

These videos are so dang cute! The bottom one is Kayla singing her quarter song. And then the next one is Marshall galloping with the rest of the kids. I was giggling so bad at this. Anyway, her last day of school was fun. Marshall spent the morning with her and the made cupcakes, made picture frames, necklaces and then cleaned up there cubbies. I got there with Ellie for the program and they sang a couple of songs and then played games, did a pinata and then we ate lunch. She was sad to say bye to her friends but it she is so excited about Kindergarten. Oh they showed a slide show of the class throughout the year and of course since I've become this little ball baby I cried through the whole thing. I can't believe how fast Makayla has grown and how much she has learned. On to the next phase in life!

Water Day at Headstart
Kayla's class had water day today. I went and stayed the whole time. We had so much fun. I just love that I can go and be with her at school. I love to see what they do and how they interact with one another. It is so much fun for me. And Makayla loves it to, but I'm sure that will change sooner than I would hope. Anyway she only has one more week of school. It is sad that My little girl is growing up! Kayla is so smart and funny. She is going to do great in Kindergarten I have her all set and registered to go...now we need a back pack! ahhhhh it starts, the school, the teachers, the homework, etc etc.....

ZOO DAY!
We went to the Zoo on May 2nd and had a blast. Maykayla's school went and we got to go. The girls had so much fun. It was cute to see them react to all the different animals. Kayla kept calling the Giraffe's Zebra's and the Zebra's Giraffes. It was funny. Ellie was fascinated by the snakes and elephants. Anyway, we had a great family day.
